Istanbul, not Constantinople, happy 76th
Ok, this is too freaky not to talk about. Everytime we study something in history, it comes up on my daily "On this day..." e-mail. So, the latest one: we just finished the Byzantines and Constantinople last week. Today is the 76 anniversary of Constantinople's official change to Istanbul. Too weird!
